We’d like to invite your students to participate in the global online competition Best Beethoven Performance. Here’s what you need to know in under 2 mins.

ELIGIBILITY:
The competition is open to instrumentalists and singers of all nationalities and countries up to 25 years.

REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENTS
– One free-choice piece by Ludwig van Beethoven It’s not required to know the piece by heart.
– The performance may be solo, with accompaniment, or with orchestra.
For large scale woks such as concerto: one movement. Transcriptions/adaptations/ arrangements are acceptable. For example, a piece of music adapted for another instrument(s) than which it was originally composed.
ROUNDS:
The competition is divided into a qualifying round (pre-screening) and a final round.

Pre-Screening:
Participants are required to submit a video recording of their performance (YouTube link or other online video platform) by email. Within the same email, please include your name, age and nationality; name of the piece and composer; and the competition you apply for.

Final Round:
